As nice of an idea as "fit to content" is in theory, is it practical? Hardly. The usefulness of that function stopped near after it's creation. Before you angrily throw lawn darts, realize that I too would like the window to just go full screen sometimes. Perhaps a 4th button would be nice, but that might drive other people batty. I love the ideas you linked to, but at least for me, the resize scripts don't work in Safari 4. Hopefully I'm somehow messing something up, as I wouldn't mind having at least the full screen script around... I'm thinking bookmarks bar, using the Command+# shortcut.
